Recipes with vegan chorizo
Today I bring you a recipe that for me is like a medicine. These are raw vegan crackers of flax seeds and toasted sesame seeds with spices made in a dehydrator at low temperature so as not to lose the beneficial properties that these wonderful seeds provide us. Since I had the relapse I take flax seeds in salads, but Mariana (DEP) reminded me of the following passage from the book of Odile Fernandez My Anticancer Recipes: “Tamoxifen is a common drug in women who have had breast cancer, as it inhibits estrogen and thus the possibility of recurrence. The intake of 25g of flax seeds a day has a similar effect to taking tamoxifen, without the important side effects that this drug causes in women (endometrial cancer and thromboembolism)”. Although my cancer is not breast cancer, since it is a desmoid tumor, some oncologists insist that I should take tamoxifen (because of the estrogen inhibition), and that I should not take flaxseed.
