Types of food poisoning
Anyone can get food poisoning, but some groups of people are more likely to get sick and their case may be more severe. Those people’s ability to fight off germs and illness may not be as effective. These groups include:

How long does food poisoning last?
Looking for an easy way to eat healthier? The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (part of the U.S. National Institutes of Health) suggests thinking of three food groups: 1) Follow, 2) Caution! and 3) Stop!
The healthiest foods belong to the “Follow” group. These are foods such as steamed or raw vegetables and skim or low-fat milk. You can eat these foods virtually any time.
Foods that you can only eat sometimes are part of the “Caution!” group. Foods such as hamburgers or pancakes are not forbidden, but you should not eat them every day. At most, you can eat them a couple of times a week.
Other foods should make you say this, “Stop! Should I eat it?” These foods are the least healthy. They are the ones that are most likely to cause overweight or obesity problems, especially if eaten constantly. Foods belonging to the “high!” group, such as potato chips or ice cream, can be eaten only once in a while.
